Reserved to members of the Academic Body who expand their commitment through a regular institutional contribution. Their support helps sustain the institution's daily operation, the continuity of publications, events, and cultural initiatives, and the preservation of its collection.
The Academic Patronage Circle recognizes additional support from individuals who already belong to the Academic Body. These distinctions do not change the academic category or the chair held.
Who this is for
Active members of the Academic Body who wish to expand their institutional support without replacing their academic membership, chair, or patron.
Purpose
Formalize the first tier of the Academic Patronage Circle, record the annual institutional contribution, and recognize the additional support provided to the Society's cultural and educational mission.
Process rules
- This modality is available only to an active member of the Academic Body.
- Patronage is additional and does not replace the academic membership, chair, or patron.
- The relationship is valid for 12 months and renews manually.
- The annual institutional contribution is $564.00.
- Formalization depends on payment confirmation and institutional registration.

- Recognition through the Patronage categoryApplies during the Patronage term without creating or changing a chair, academic patron, title, degree, or preexisting Academic Body relationship.
- Patronage category certificateIssued only after the process requirements are satisfied and with the category-specific template. It is not a diploma, title, or academic credential.
- Eligibility for selected invitationsSubject to an available activity, applicable criteria, capacity, a valid channel, and consent. It does not guarantee an event, place, admission, or waiver of fees.
- Conditional category display on the public profileOnly with an active public profile, an eligible, active, and visible relationship, and separate consent. Membership does not publish the profile automatically.
