The Board of Directors holds final authority over governance, institutional policies, admissions, honors, programs, and finances. ASHAL has no voting members: honors, memberships, and titles are institutional recognitions and do not confer governance rights. Directors serve four-year terms. No compensation to any director, officer, or founder is approved at this time.

Policy	In one sentence
Conflict of Interest	Interested persons must disclose and step aside; disinterested directors decide, and every decision is documented.
Compensation & Reimbursement	No salary or fee to any director, officer, or founder is approved; only documented reimbursement of actual expenses for corporate purposes.
Financial Controls	Corporate funds are kept separate from personal and any other funds, and every transaction is recorded with date, source, amount, and purpose.
Document Retention	Constitutive records are kept permanently; financial records for at least seven years; nothing relevant to a pending inquiry may ever be destroyed.
Whistleblower	Concerns may be raised in good faith, retaliation is prohibited, and reports are reviewed by directors not involved in the matter.
Non-Discrimination & Code of Conduct	ASHAL does not unlawfully discriminate, and respectful conduct is expected in every program, ceremony, and online space.
