Anapuena Havena

Anapuena Havena is a Brazilian writer, historian, researcher, entrepreneur, and cultural advocate based in the United States. Her work connects historical and genealogical research with literature, cultural identity, and the preservation of memory.

She holds a bachelor's degree in History and postgraduate qualifications in Brazilian History, as well as training in Family Therapy and a master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. She has received an honorary doctorate recognizing her contributions to history, literature, and historical, artistic, and cultural heritage.

Her first children's book, O Príncipe que Não Sabia Brincar, was conceived in 2014 and published in 2016. Her subsequent works include the historical novel Descobrindo a Nobreza do Amor (2017), Encantos do Café – Decisões (2018), and Encantos do Café – Desvendar (2020). In 2019, she organized and coauthored the anthology Brasilidade: um canto de amor à Pátria. Her writing for young readers also includes O Poder Adormecido.

Encantos do Café inspired the creation of Café Patriota, a historical and cultural venue that brought together lectures, free courses, literary competitions, and book launches. This experience contributed to the founding of the Academia Brasileira de História e Literatura (ABHL), which she leads as president. Her cultural work also includes participation in literary academies, anthologies, and cultural institutions in Brazil and abroad.
